Made from reclaimed timber and found materials this minimal construction sought to divide the normal right-of-way across the room. The title implies the action necessary to pass through the sculpture and traverse the newly configured space, while the actual interaction between the viewer and the work can be much more passive.
Exhibited for the pop-up exhibition 100 The Highway in the old Maritime Printers Company building in London, October 2010.
