Circumnavigation

On the morning of August 28th, 2011 I circumnavigated Rabbit Island by walking the absolute perimeter where the water meets the stone shore. Using a GPS device I recorded the track by registering a point every second. I walked at an average speed of 2 miles per hour taking 47 minutes and 26 seconds. This track resulted in 2846 data points with a total distance of 1.9 miles. Circumnavigation is a precise outline of the island painted directly onto the wall of the DeVos Art Museum using this data.
